Justin M. Raber is a practicing attorney throughout the Mid Ohio Valley in West Virginia, servings families to meet all their legal needs.  Throughout his career, Raber has been an active member of the community, both within and outside of the legal profession.

Justin earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, majoring in communication studies and political science. Additionally, Justin has served as an adjunct professor at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. In his legal profession, Justin advocates for children on a daily basis in child abuse and neglect proceedings and in family court proceedings, represents parties in divorce and custody proceedings, provides civil litigation, criminal defense representation, and real estate services throughout West Virginia. He also regularly provides representation to nonprofit (tax exempt) organization and businesses to meet their unique needs.

In 2018, Justin was elected to the Wood County Board of Education, where he continues to serve the families and children in Wood County to ensure that all kids are first in Wood County Schools. Justin currently serves as President of the Wood County Board of Education. Justin regularly provides unique perspectives to the education system of Wood County due to his legal and parental engagement background.

In addition to being a practicing attorney throughout the Mid Ohio Valley, Justin has served on the Board of Directors and various committees for the National PTA, where he advocated to ensure every child’s potential is a reality, including chairing various national committees. Additionally, Justin has served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for Artsbridge, an arts education nonprofit, as President for Wood County Society, a nonprofit serving children and adults with disabilities, and as a board member for North Star Child Advcoacy Center. Justin also was appointed in 2018 to serve as a Trustee of his alma mater, West Virginia Wesleyan College.

As a proud member of the Wesleyan Orange Line, Justin serves Wesleyan to ensure that liberal arts institution is stronger than ever. Justin was honored as the 2013 National PTA Shirley Igo Advocate of the Year and has received numerous other awards, including the 2015 Wood County Society Celebration for Kids award, a National PTA Life Achievement Award and a West Virginia PTA, Wisconsin PTA and Indiana PTA Honorary Life Memberships.
